The Center for Addiction Studies and Research is a Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF) approved distance-learning provider of continuing education in the chemical dependency field. Distance-learning hours are approved for CACCF continuing education requirements. There is no limit on the number of continuing education hours that can be earned through distance-learning education.

Educational Requirements

Documentation of forty (40) hours of continuing education every two (2) years.

A minimum of twenty-eight (28) of the CEU hours must be “core specific” with course content that pertains and is relevant to the Twelve Core Functions. Individuals can satisfy all forty (40) required continuing education hours through “core specific” trainings.

There is no limit on the number of core-specific continuing education hours that can be earned through CACCF-approved distance-learning education.
