Topics covered include patterns and prevalence of alcohol and substance use among adolescents, consequences of adolescent drug use, brain development and adolescent drug use, tailoring treatment to adolescents, evidence-based approaches to treating adolescent substance use disorders, addiction medication issues, special populations, recovery support services, legal issues and considerations.
