Education Requirements and Courses
Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS)
Documentation of 120 hours specific to the 6 performance domains, including:
24 hours of ATOD use and abuse education
6 hours of prevention ethics
4 hours of HIV/AIDS education
There is no limit on the number of hours that can be earned through distance learning trainings.
