The Center for Addiction Studies and Research is a Virginia Certification Board (VCB) approved distance learning provider of prevention education (VCB Provider Number 115).
Education Requirements and Courses
Associate Prevention Specialist (APS)
High school diploma or GED
Documentation of 100 hours of education relevant to the prevention domains including:
- 50 hours must be ATOD specific
There is no limit on the number of hours that can be earned through distance learning trainings.
