The Center for Addiction Studies and Research is an NAADAC/IC&RC approved provider of distance-learning education in the chemical dependency field. Trainings are provided under the NAADAC Education Provider #99236 and the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) Education and Training Provider Certification #0559. NYS OASAS is a member board of IC&RC. NAADAC/IC&RC approved distance-learning trainings are accepted by the South Dakota Board of Addiction and Prevention Professionals (BAPP) for Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor Level I (CCDC I), Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) continuing education requirements.
Initial certification/licensure requirements must be completed through formal classroom instruction.
