This coursework provides individuals who have already completed the 50 hours of Massachusetts LADC Assistant education with the remaining 220 hours of education required for a LADC I/II (270 hours).

Topics covered include:

• 110 hours related to knowledge of alcoholism and drug abuse
• 45 hours related to alcohol/drug abuse counseling, assessment, clinical evaluation, treatment planning and case management
• 65 hours related to patient/family/community education, cultural competency, and/or other co-existing issues
