COVID-19 Update: The Idaho Board of Alcohol/Drug Counselor Certification (IBADCC) has waived the 50% face-to-face requirement for continuing education and the 4 hour face-to-face Professional Growth and Responsibility or Ethics continuing education requirement for prevention certifications.
You may now complete all coursework through approved distance learning programs.
Ethics for Prevention Professionals (6 hours) may be used to satisfy the ethics requirement.
Prevention Interventions: Special Populations and Special Issues (40 hours) may be used to satisfy continuing education requirements. This course includes 6 hours of ethics education.
Documentation of 120 hours of education specific to the domains including:
A maximum of 50% of education hours may be completed through distance learning trainings.
