Understanding Washington SUDP Counseling Certifications

Washington SUDP Substance Abuse Certification Continuing Education Courses
To maintain a Washington SUDP certification, counselors are required to complete:
- 20 hours of continuing education every two years including:
- 4 hours related to Professional Ethics
- 2 hours of Health Equity training (every four years)
- 3 hours of Suicide Assessment, Screening, and Referral (every six years)
