This course includes 170 hours of primary prevention and life skills training, 100 hours in substance abuse specific materials covering 6 hours of prevention ethics, 6 hours of HIV/AIDS training and education, 6 hours in nicotine dependence, 6 hours in psychopathology, and 6 hours in evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Domain 1 – Planning and Evaluation (45 hours – includes 3 hours of evidence-based treatment approaches)
• Domain 2 – Prevention Education and Service Delivery (45 hours – includes 3 hours of psychopathology, 3 hours of evidence-based treatment approaches)
• Domain 3 – Communication (45 hours)
