Education Requirements and Courses
Associate Prevention Specialist (APS)
Documentation of 75 hours including:
- 37.5 hours in prevention
- 37.5 hours in alcohol and drug use/misuse
- 6 hours ethics
- 6 hours HIV/AIDS training
- 4 hours disruptive audience training
A maximum of 50% of education hours may be completed through distance learning trainings.
